Inside there was raw and smoked whitefish and trout for sale, as well as some homemade jams and beaded jewelry and trinkety things. The displays aren't fancy and the fish are just stored all together in big buckets in the cooler. This place is very low key and, in my opinion, awesome.

While driving through the Munising area, I noticed a few smoked fish places clustered together and knew I needed to stop in and get some. From the outside, Cap'n Ron's Smoked Fish looked different than the others and I was drawn to its local and rustic vibe. Well Captain Ron and the fish he catches are the real deal and I'm glad I stopped by.
We ordered a small amount of smoked trout and the fish was just thrown in a plastic grocery bag. We took it to our campsite and enjoyed it on crackers with cream cheese. The trout was smokey, moist, and all around top notch. What a treat.
